Introduction

The SEB Electrician Programme (SEP) 2009 is designed to train technician to be competent in both the theoretical and practical aspects of the electrical works in SESCO.

This program consists of 17 modules. The duration of training is ten months (fulltime) and it shall be delivered over two semesters of five months each. Most of the program will be carried out at the SESCO Training Centre but certain practical training may be carried out at the workplace. Trainees are required to complete all the 17 modules and sit for certain competency examinations at the end of the training.

Currently, we are in the process of recruiting suitable candidates for 2009/2010 to undergo this programme at SESCO Training Centre.  

TRAINEES

The Company invites applications from suitable candidates to be trained as

 ELECTRICIAN (JURUELEKTRIK)
at the Company's Training Centre at Jalan Belian Sg. Biawak, Kuching.

Applicants must be Malaysian citizens domiciled in Sarawak
between the ages of 20 and 28 and
should hold a Certificate in Electrical Engineering
or Electrical & Electronics or equivalent.
 

The Scheme

During the training period, the student will be trained through lectures and practical in the following fields:

The student is required to complete all the modules. The Company is not bound to offer employment to the student at the end of the training period but will have the first option to employ him/her in accordance with the terms of the contract to be signed by the student before the training commences.
