The above figures
consist of all trippings due to transient faults, e.g lightning and
vegetation faults, non-line faults e.g substation equipment /
relay failure, human factors. Efforts had been made to
reduce all these faults by replacing faulty equipment, conducting
reality checks and enforcing strict procedures for online tests.
b. System
performance measures is using Transmission Delivery Point
Performance (TDPP). The present performance levels since 2001:
