The 216km long 275kV
transmission line from Batang Ai to Kuching commissioned in
1985.

The 275kV network
was extended at Engkilili eastward to Sibu, Bintulu and Miri
in 1988, 1991 and 1997 respectively.

Generating Plants

The Transmission
System interconnects 6 main Power Stations of a total
generation capacity of 938MW, operating on 4 different fuels,
namely oil, gas, coal and hydro.
